On Thursday, the group at the Fritz-Haber Institute achieved signal of the first ever trap of Aluminium-Monofluoride. To date this is the lowest wavelength Magneto Optical Trap ever achived.
At the end of June in Stockholm, a two day workshop took place with updates and presentations from collaborators. Additionally, external members gave presentations relevant to the collaboration, and discussion sessions were held.
Towards the end of September in Florence the annual project progress meeting took place. Each collaborator gave a detailed update on their progress. In addition to members of the collaboration, external speakers also gave talks on topics relevant to the collaboration.
The second in-person meeting between the collaborators took place in Tampere.
The first annual meeting between the collaborators is held in Berlin to kick off the project. Several external speakers are also invited.
